Individuals are appointed in managerial positions, but they do not have developed skills to manage people.

We developed interactive, unit standard based programmes at three different levels for different levels of managers.

The courses cover the unit standards that make up the qualifications "National Certificate: Management" at NQF levels 3, 4 and 5 Development of skills needed by a manager to be able to operate as a manager is covered in detail in the programme. The structure of delivery is adapted to the needs of the company. Training sessions can be facilitated in sessions covering a module during a 2 to 4 days contact session or in a "one day per week" manner. The material is accredited by the Services SETA, giving learners the credits for each unit standard of the qualification. The programmes are modular and individual modules can be presented. This enables us to deliver the modules in an order most suited to the needs of each client. It also means that the programme need not be purchased as a whole, but can be spread over a number of financial periods. The learning events are outcomes based and ample exercises are provided for learners to become competent in concepts Knowledge has to be integrated into workplace situations and supervisor liaison and involvement in assessing this is part of the programme.
